Potential Issue:
Field staffer is unable to email themselves a receipt that they have scanned from the Genius Scan app on their project iPhone.
Symptom:
- Scanned document in Genius Scan app, but email was not received.
- Cannot send email from Genius Scan app.
Solution:
- After the document has been scanned, select Done in the the bottom right corner of the screen.
- On the next screen, select the Export icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to export your scanned document.
- The first time you use the Genius Scan app, you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Other apps option.
- Select the Other apps option.
- After selecting "Other apps", select the Outlook icon.
- An email message will appear in the Outlook app with the scanned image(s) as an attachment. Enter the email address to which you would like the email sent, and create a subject for the email.
- When the email is ready to send, select the triangle icon above the on-screen keyboard to send the email.
